Vendor Information

A wide variety of contributors are needed

I am looking for the following:

-Handmade crafts


-Self designed, small batch product collections.

-Small and large businesses making or selling art and craft materials.

-Caterers and a mobile bar with a minimum 4* hygiene certificate.

-Community groups and charities offering low cost or free activities for attendees. A number of free spaces are available for this purpose. Please email.

-Designers and makers wanting to run full workshops or mini 'make and take' classes.

-Children's activity providers including face painters.

-Acoustic music.

Please note that I am not looking for mass produced gift items or vendors of pyramid selling schemes such as Scentsy and Tropic. 

The Theme

Our theme for this event is 'Wild Gardens'. Think florals, wildlife, greenery and British conservation. This theme is meant to be inclusive rather than exclusive. What this means is your work does not have to fit the theme to exhibit at the event. There are already a wide range of contributors booked in to exhibit at this event and they all bring a diverse range of styles and skills. The theme will apply to our competitions and also to some of the additional activities such as the scavenger hunt and is intended to boost ticket sales and engagement with a wider audience.

Curation for quality and variety

If you've ever visited one of our Norwich Creative Market events in The Halls then you will know that we're a large group of talented artists, makers and designers. Everything is handmade or produced in small batches by the person running the stall. There are no general gift ware 'filler' stalls, no poor quality, mass produced items to compete with and anyone you are placed beside will have worked as hard as you to bring their collection to fruition. As the organiser of a larger event my costs are much higher so the stall prices automatically attract quality vendors who are looking to make a profit from their makes. You will not be competing with 'cost of materials' hobbyists who, while talented, make it hard for others to earn a living. This said, I have managed to keep stall costs very affordable to small, handmade businesses. From just £80 for the weekend.

Spacious indoor venue with outside space

The Royal Norfolk Showground arena has space for around 200 2x3 metre stall or activity spaces. There will be a good mix of paid for and free activities alongside the vendors, attracting good footfall and wide variety of shoppers. Food, live music and some activities will be outside. This will ensure space and time for people to shop.

Extensive marketing

Paired with Norwich Creative Market at the Halls, a large, year long investment has been made in digital bus stop advertising. Our first campaign reached 112,000 local people in just 2 weeks, our second over 214,000 local people over 4 weeks and these are set to run almost constantly in the lead up to the event. During the summer these ad campaigns will be run outside the local area including Great Yarmouth, Cambridge and a number of commuter routes in Norfolk and the surrounding area.

In addition to this I run social media previews for each contributor, paid ads on Facebook and Instagram, posters throughout the local area, listings on all the relevant event listing sites, Facebook groups and Tourist information centres across Norfolk. Norwich Creative Market has received press coverage from both the EDP and Radio Norfolk and there is a large and constantly growing audience on Facebook and Instagram.

Great footfall

The venue has a capacity for 2800 attendees at a time. The extensive marketing, low admission cost and range of activities on offer should attract at least 5000 people across the weekend. The planned bus stop campaign alone is going to reach over 750,000 people, targeted at the 30+ age group. This means just over 0.5% of people who see it need to attend to hit the target of 5000. This is without considering any of the other marketing activities I do.

Makers Directory & Event programme

I create an online directory for each event where you can list your chosen web link for free. At the Handmade and Creative Market, at the Showground Arena, each ticket holder will receive a programme on entry. These will have a list of vendors and workshops that will in turn be linked on the makers directory.

Featured advertising

A variety of featured advertising packages will be made available for vendors in the next month. These will include quarter to full page ads in our event programme, banner placement at the event, featured website and poster images, distribution of branded materials and more.


Increasing brand awareness

We will be running a series of traditional fairground games and competitions throughout the weekend. There will be opportunities to contribute branded items, such as pens or badges, to the prize pot, alongside the items I will be looking to purchase from some vendors for the higher level prize packages.

Free parking

Parking at the Showground is free and plentiful. By the time you factor in parking costs for The Halls, our Showground pitch costs work out at a similar cost for the same space.

Tables and chairs included

It's a very small thing but there is no extra cost for your table and chairs for the event. You can also opt not to have them if you prefer to bring your own set up.

Affordable pricing

Stalls are available from just £80 for the whole weekend. Discounts are given to vendors able to pay in advance and discounts are available for materials and equipment sellers willing to run free demonstrations for attendees.

I am looking for a number of full and mini workshops to be run on the day. The space for these spaces will be priced the same as a vendor booth. For full details please see the Run a Workshop page.

Terms and conditions and payment policy

Before any booking is made it is essential that you read the Terms and Conditions and Payment Policy page. No refunds will be offered if your space is cancelled due to you not providing the correct paperwork.
